Try to arrive a few minutes before your consultation to fill out the appropriate paperwork.
You will then be able to talk about your particular problem (s) with the chiropractor who will take a detailed case history. Following this you will be asked to change into a gown in privacy before being given a thorough examination.
The examination will be tailored to suit the specific complaint. It will involve a postural analysis, orthopaedic tests, nerve tests, muscle tests and a spinal joint assessment. Following the physical exam your chiropractic doctor will describe in detail what the findings were and what they mean. A diagnosis will be made and if treatment is required an explanation of the type and number of treatments will be given.
If chiropractic treatment is not appropriate in your case we will refer you to your G.P. or onto another specialist.
