The Rossiter System helps you to prevent and relieve pain, regain and build range of motion, and enhance performance.
It works through a system of powerful assisted stretches, which help to re-model the body’s connective tissue system (the network of muscles, ligaments, tendons and fascia), allowing better mobility, freer joint movement and most of all pain relief.
The technique involves a practitioner applying pressure to specific areas of the body, to anchor the tissues, while you are guided through movement to actively stretch that particular part of the tissue network. The entire body can be worked on, from neck and shoulders down to hips and legs, including extremities such as wrists and ankles.
Can the Rossiter System help you?
Connective tissue holds our body together, but it can shorten and tighten over time through overuse (such as poor posture, or repetitive a daily activity) or from an injury. Rather than general stretching, this targeting with the assistance of the practitioner, and unlike a passive massage treatment, you as the patient are in control of depth of the work and stretch.
