Pinched Nerve

A pinched nerve (Nerve Compression) is an irritated or inflamed nerve which occurs when too much pressure is applied to a nerve. The pressure may be the result of repetitive motions or even long periods of poor posture, causing disruption in the nerve’s function and severe pain.

Damage caused by a pinched nerve may vary from minor pain to neurological symptoms such as Peripheral neuropathy and Carpal tunnel syndrome.

Physiotherapy treatment will help, especially when combined with other physical therapies such as exercises and stretches.
