Becky began to follow her passion for health and fitness after University. Firstly, qualifying as a personal trainer and sports massage therapist in 2008, before going on to certify as a STOTT Pilates instructor in 2009 and STOTT Reformer Instructor in 2015.
Her career started with PhysioActive in London, allowing Becky to work with a great team of physiotherapists right from the start, gaining experience of a wide range of ailments, conditions and clients.
Becky now lives and works in and around Cheltenham. She admits she is a bit of an education addict, so you will often find her on a course picking up new information and techniques. Becky incorporates Anatomy in Motion (AiM) into her practice as a form of assessment and rehabilitation tool, as well as P-dtr. Treatment sessions will involve movement and massage. For long-standing pain, Becky finds that it is important delve into a person’s history to help understand why the body is presenting as it is today. In addition to Becky’s work, she will also be training in hypnotherapy this year, in order to help access subconscious drivers of pain and stress.
Aside from work, Becky loves all sports and activities for herself, and over the years has dabbled in swimming, diving, rowing, Muy Thai, running, hockey, netball, tennis, skiing, walking, trampolining, weights, surfing, pilates and yoga. She also loves anything to do with animals and has created her own fundraising and awareness campaign for Orangutans.
