Lisa is an experienced Registered Dietitian. She has a BSc (Hons) Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Wales qualifying in 2001 and has 15 years’ experience. Lisa worked in the NHS for over 10 years in a variety of clinical settings empowering and supporting clients manage their medical conditions through diet, lifestyle & behavioural changes. Since leaving the NHS she has continued to help many clients improve their health concerns through dietary and lifestyle advice.
Lisa specialises in diet-related chronic disease management and long term weight loss through her unique skills which she has gained through behaviour therapy training and her extensive experience of working in Specialist Weight Management clinics in Birmingham. She has worked alongside Clinical Psychologists, Counsellors’ and Obesity Consultants. She has specific training and experience in helping clients overcome emotional/comfort eating. Lisa also has a special interest in helping clients improve their digestive health, such as IBS and has specific training in the low FODMAP diet for functional gut disorders. She also deals with complex medical conditions in combination.
