Matt Goodman

Matt qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2004 from Coventry University with a First class BSc (Hons). After Matt qualified, he worked in the NHS around the Midlands and Surrey, specialising in musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. He then went on to working in private practice in London and undertake further postgraduate training at Birmingham University specialising in manual therapy and sports physiotherapy.

Matt has worked in elite professional rugby including Western Force (Super Rugby) in Australia and Worcester Warriors (Premiership Rugby). Matt has also worked with a number of professional cyclists, triathletes, runners and was a physiotherapist during the London 2012 games. Matt’s treatment approach combines a combination of manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation tailored to the individual. Matt is competent in the use of acupuncture and the use of strapping and taping. Matt has a specific interest in sports injuries and optimising performance and has extensive experience in return to play rehabilitation. Matt enjoys snowboarding and is a keen runner, having completed a number of marathons including the Jordan Ultramarathon (8 marathons in 6 days through Wadi Rum national park) and has also completed a number of triathlons.
