Sophie qualified in Physiotherapy at the University of Liverpool in 2005. She has a level 3 certificate in Sports massage, a diploma of Lymphatic Drainage Massage, as well as completed foundation courses in myofascial release and acupuncture, and is trained in Women’s Health physiotherapy. She is also a certified Instructor of Pilates and HIT Pilates.

Sophie has been working as a physiotherapist for 10 years in Gloucestershire. She has a passion for helping people rehabilitate from their injuries and enjoys working to achieve each patient’s personal goals for their recovery.

Sophie has a wide experience from elite athletes to the elderly. Treating muscle and joint problems, balance problems and has a keen interest into Women’s Health. This includes pregnancy related pelvic and back pain and pelvic floor disorders such as incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. She has a specialist interest in core stability and rehabilitiation from injury through Pilates training. An important part of rehabilitation from injury often starts with core exercises, which can be taught as one to one sessions with Sophie.

Sophie takes joy in working with each patient individually using manual therapy and exercise prescription alongside education of the injury or condition to provide effective and personalised treatment.
