Tim qualified with First Class Honours in Physiotherapy at Coventry University in 2002. This was a second career for Tim, who had previously been an Ambulance Paramedic in Bristol, so he has now been working in healthcare for over 25 years.
Tim is trained in a variety of joint and soft tissue mobilisation techniques and uses his extensive knowledge of physiological processes to tailor treatments to the individual, taking into consideration their age, medical history, lifestyle and personal goals. Tim will also employ specific therapeutic exercises to help restore pain free movement and function.
On graduating as a Physiotherapist, Tim worked for the NHS in Worcestershire for 4 years, gaining broad experience in musculoskeletal, neurological and respiratory Physiotherapy, before moving to a specialist musculoskeletal post in Devon. Here he gained further experience in biomechanics, musculoskeletal injuries, movement related disorders and post-surgery rehabilitation. He worked alongside Consultants and many specialists including an internationally renowned shoulder specialist undertaking research into the treatment of rotator cuff injuries.
Tim continued to work for the NHS until 2017 before moving into private practice. During his career, he has led both musculoskeletal and community rehabilitation teams. Tim has a passion for helping people to achieve their full potential whether this is following an injury or due to a long-term condition. Tim has a particular interest in helping people with chronic pain.
When not busy helping clients to achieve their goals, Tim’s life revolves around his dogs and horse. Whether on foot or horseback, he can usually be found exploring the beautiful countryside of Gloucestershire.
